お買い物しちゃいました

７／３夜の『お買い物しナイト』＠ホテルクラスカHOTEL CLASKAの戦利品です。
やっぱりいろいろ買っちゃったなあ。

see what i got at hotel claska last friday.i knew i wouldn't come home with empty-handed...

いくつかのイベントを平行してやってたんですが、
まずは全国の伝統的なお菓子を集めた『日本の銘菓展』（７／２６まで開催）で、お買い物。デパートでも似たような催事はあるけど、オリジナル風呂敷付きというのがクラスカらしい。たくさんある中からさんざん悩んで、和歌山の銘菓をお持ち帰り。

among several events going on, i picked up a traditional sweets from wakayama pref at a sweets market. hard to chose one out of 47. the way they present the whole event is not like when department stores or other organizers do. especially the original furoshiki designed for the event as a wrapping package for gifts entertain customers.

一夜限りのフリマで販売されてたクリエイターの作品。YUTAmakerさんのHANE Penと、VERO TWIQOヴェロトゥィコさんとcookie boyさんがコラボした、本革プチ靴ベラと、同じ柄をお砂糖でデコレーションしたアイシング・クッキーのセット。ちょっとしたギフトにぴったり。

here are cute pieces japanese young creators made. above :HANE Pen by YUTA maker, below :a funny cooraboration work of a leather artist and a food artist. shoe horn by VERO TWIQO and an edible shoes by cookie boy. all are hand made.

カラフルな手編みの毛糸でペンをくるんだHANEpenは、想いを伝えるという意味からも伝書鳩をイメージしているとか。ファンタジーのある素敵なアイディアですね。昔から羽が１本だけの羽ペンはありますが、「鳩１羽まるごと」とは、いかしてます（笑）

早速、翌日取材でメモ用ペンとして持参。インパクトもさることながら、カバンの中で見つけやすくて便利♪

HANEpen-literally means feather pen-is a creation inspired by a carrier of pigeon in terms of communication tool, a pen with a pen cover knitted with colorful wool. i liked the concept behind also the way they evolved a traditional feather pen with just a piece of feather to the one with "a whole pigieon" . (-:
it works to give people arty impression. easy to find in a bag is also good.

クラスカがこの春に発行したオリジナルの東京ガイドブックTOKYO BY TOKYO。ディープな情報をもった仕事仲間の方たちが執筆に参加している他、帽子デザイナーのお友達内山グリさんの素敵なお店C.A.G.セーアージーほか紹介されてます。バイリンガルなので、海外からきたゲストにもお役立ち。

実は他にも買ったものがあるのだけど、到着が先なので、また後のお楽しみ。

claska's original guide book of tokyo came out just this spring. some of my colleagues and friends such as C.A.G. the shop of hat designer/shop owner Uchiyama Gris in Sendagi participated for making lists. text is bilingual of japanese and english. good to have for foreign visitors.
