アスティエさんの食器

春の展示会で購入したアスティエ・ド・ヴィラットAstier De Villatteのマグカップ＆お皿が先月末に届いて以来、愛用しているのですが、道具だけに、実際使ってからわかることが結構あるものです。

重さは軽いし、何より独特の温かみのある青白い肌で、やっぱり味わいがあるなーと、満足げに眺めて使っていたのですが、使い始めて間もなく、マグの底にピキピキとひび割れが入っているのを発見！最初はちょっとショックを受けていたのですが、どうやら、上薬の具合か、こういう性質の陶器のようですね。
今ではそのひび割れ具合が（しかも広がりつつある）、自分のつけた手跡みたいで、ますます愛おしくなってしまいました。


こちらは、お花＆てんとう虫の模様が入ったお皿なんですが、
お菓子をのせると、まるでてんとう虫が甘い香りに誘われて近寄ってきているみたい♪

こんなことも、使い始めてから発見できた楽しみです。

it's nice to discover something adorable in everyday life, like ceramics of Astrad de Villat,the french ceramic artist. ever since some pieces of de villat arrived my home they have been giving me a joy in every meal and tea time. i enjoy its lightness, appearance, and everything, cherish even its delicate cracks appeared in the bottom of a cup which once made me upset when i discovered. now i can consider them trails of my days appear as passing.

another charm point i discovered in the dish with a flower & a ladybug motief:
a little ladybug approaching to a lemon cake. you never be able to capture it till you use the dish just like that.
